A typographic poster, 8.5" x 17"
Typeface Caslon's classic fine and vintage style reminded me of European high-end body & bath product brands, such as L'occitane and Crabtree & Evelyn and of the medieval decorative arts in printmaking. Based on these imagery associations, a poster to celebrate historical typeface Caslon ( 250+ years) is created. The sole use of the outline and curvature of Adobe Caslon 1990 and calm blue tones best capture the impression of this beautiful serif typeface.
